This listing is for Spider-Man #1 (Platinum Edition) , published by Marvel in 1990. According to the CGC census, there are only 57 artist signed (CGC SS) copies graded 9.8 and none higher. A large portion of those are only signed by a single artist. This comic is rated 9.8 (Near Mint / Mint) by CGC and has "White Pages".

It was signed by both Stan Lee and Todd McFarlane in the presence of CGC , such that there is no doubt about authenticity. Its most noticeable defect is a little wear along the spine (see pictures above), though that's mainly just due to the type of paper used to manufacture the cover of this issue (and therefore not penalized heavily by CGC). Its CGC case is the older style - there is a ComicLink sticker on the back; if you'd like us to remove this for you, please include a note at checkout. The visual effect is similar to oil on a water puddle because of the two plastics.
